SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) today announced several updates to its PartnerEdge program designed to help channel partners in the US and Canada grow and differentiate their businesses. The latest enhancements, which take effect November 1, 2010, feature a growth incentive rebate for top tier partners, an enhanced deal registration program that rewards partners for identifying and leading sales opportunities, and a new MarketingEdge program that gives partners ready access to an array of customizable marketing materials. With 92 percent of its revenues generated through channel sales in the quarter ending July 31 this year, Aruba's commitment to its channel partners and its partner program remains strong.
"We already have a lot of incentive to work with Aruba given the unique solution and solid value proposition they offer," said Dan Wilson, co-founder and vice president of partner alliances at Accuvant, an Aruba Platinum Partner. Accuvant is a leading national security consulting organization that designs and executes strategies to address its clients' complex information security challenges, helping organizations assess risk, improve compliance and secure infrastructure. “We’re extremely pleased with the improvements to Aruba’s channel program which enable us to further invest in a successful partnership. Rewarding partners who deliver greater value in the sales process is strongly aligned with our strategy.”
The Aruba PartnerEdge program was launched in September 2007 and counts more than 400 value-added resellers (VARs) in its ranks. More than 800 partner engineers have received Aruba technical certifications since the program was launched. Aruba provides online sales training and comprehensive technical training at no cost to qualified partners.
The program enhancements will reward partners that deliver greater value, offer growth incentives for top tier partners, and help partners drive business with joint marketing. Highlights of the changes include:
- Deal Registration will provide additional discount points for partners that create opportunities and demonstrate pre-sales value
- An incentive rebate will reward Platinum partners for achieving year-over-year sales growth targets
- Platinum partners will accrue co-op on total product revenue, regardless of special discounts
- Gold and Silver partners will be eligible for marketing funds upon request
- MarketingEdge will enable partners with an array of turnkey, customizable resources for co-marketing
- Demo and lab equipment can be purchased at an aggressive new discount
“I’m excited that we’re delivering an enhanced set of programs to help partners drive business and provide better margins for those who are taking deals end to end. We’ve recently completed an audit of partner certifications and are recognizing the partners that have demonstrated expertise in selling and delivering our solutions," said Robert Bruce, vice president of channel sales at Aruba. "The market and the company are in states of steady growth, and enabling our channel partners to make the most of this opportunity is Aruba's top priority."
The program changes will take effect November 1, 2010. Aruba partners should visit the Aruba Partner Center online for more details on the PartnerEdge program and updates.
