Mining Hall of Fame: Ian Telfer, Chairman
Goldcorp Chairman of the Board, Ian Telfer, was inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame on January 15th, 2015. The Canadian Mining Hall of Fame was established in 1988 and recognizes and honours leaders in the Canadian mining industry. Mr Telfer is recognized for more than three decades of success in the mining industry.

Goldcorp has been recognized by El Economista (the Economist) magazine as one of the 21 most socially responsible companies in Central America. The May 2015 edition of the magazine included a feature about the Marlin Mine’s open pit closure to highlight reclamation efforts currently underway.
Western Canada General Counsel of the Year: Charlene Ripley, EVP, General Counsel
Goldcorp’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Charlene Ripley, was named Western Canada General Counsel of the Year at the fourth annual Western Canada General Counsel 2015 Awards (WCGCA). The WCGCA is the only national programme in Canada which exclusively recognizes excellence within the in-house Counsel community. It is founded by the National Post and ZSA Legal Recruitment to honour the best in-house lawyers west of Ontario.
Goldcorp named Mayor’s Arts Honouree for Business Support
The City of Vancouver’s Alliance for Arts and Culture jury has chosen to honour Goldcorp for its contributions to community arts initiatives such as the Goldcorp Stage at the BMO Theatre Centre, Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts and continuous support for the Bard on the Beach Festival, Arts Umbrella, and Full Circle Talking Stick Festival. Goldcorp was also selected for its generous donations to musical endeavors such as the Vancouver Tap Society, Vancouver Opera and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Goldcorp wins 2015 UN Global Compact Peer Review Distinction Award
Goldcorp participated in the UN Global Compact Network Canada Reporting Peer Review Program and was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation, along with Telus, as this year’s winners. The award is based on the total score submitted by peer participants, using an evaluation framework based on the United Nation’s priorities around anti-corruption, labour, environment, and human rights management.

Anna Tudela, VP, Diversity, Regulatory Affairs & Corporate Secretary and Sophie Bergeron, Acting Manager of Operations, PGM-Borden Gold Project, have been named in Women in Mining’s (UK) 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining list for 2016. WIM (UK) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and progressing the development of women in the mining and minerals sector. Anna and Sophie were nominated by their peers for the contributions they have made to the mining industry and those around them.
