Aruba Emerges as One of Only Two Vendors Placed in the Leaders Category
Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) today announced that in Forrester
Research, Inc.’s The Forrester Wave™ for Wireless Local Area Network
(LAN) Solutions for 2014, Aruba has been positioned in the Leaders
category.
The Forrester
WAVE™ for WLAN Solutions evaluates wireless LAN solutions using
five, simple architectural characteristics: scalable, shared,
simplified, standardized and secure, for the current offering criteria,
and two other primary criteria categories: strategy and market presence.
Of the ten vendor solutions included in the assessment, Aruba’s solution
emerged as one of only two placed in the Leaders category.
In Forrester’s evaluation, the firm noted that the vendors in the
Leaders category separated themselves from other vendors by “introducing
wireless capabilities that can transform businesses and move wireless
from a cost center to revenue generator” and specifically noted that
“Aruba’s location-based capabilities can help those in hospitality
improve the way they engage with customers.”
“We’re thrilled that Forrester has recognized what we consider to be
Aruba’s leading mobility portfolio, innovative vision and strong market
position,” said Ben Gibson, Chief Marketing Officer, Aruba Networks.
“Our Mobility-Defined Networks are allowing customers to meet the needs
of #GenMobile employees in a way that is cost-effective for their
organizations. Our approach has already been embraced by customers
worldwide, and we believe Forrester’s assessment further validates that
we are on the right track.”
