With ClearPass Solution, Aruba Demonstrates Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) today announced that in Gartner
Inc.’s latest “Magic
Quadrant for Network Access Control” report, Aruba and its ClearPass
Access Management System have been positioned in the leaders quadrant.
This is the second consecutive year that Aruba has been selected for
that quadrant.
This year’s “Magic Quadrant for Network Access Control” notes that the
Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) trend is continuing to be the primary
driver for the adoption of network access control (NAC). As always,
Gartner evaluates vendors based on two criteria: completeness of vision
and ability to execute, and includes a summary of each vendor, as well
as an assessment of each vendor’s strengths and weaknesses.
“As enterprises continue to search for ways to securely address the BYOD
trend, our ClearPass solution has evolved to deliver important features
and capabilities across multivendor networks,” said Keerti Melkote,
Chief Technology Officer, Aruba Networks. “ClearPass enables contextual
sharing and integration with third-party security solutions as well as
integration with leading enterprise mobility management solutions. Being
placed in the leaders quadrant of this year’s Gartner ‘Magic Quadrant
for Network Access Control’ validates the direction we are taking in
Network Access Control.”
