Demonstrates Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute Across Wired and Wireless Networking
Aruba Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARUN) today announced that in Gartner
Inc.’s latest “Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure”
report, Aruba has been positioned in the Leader’s quadrant for the third
consecutive year.
The 2014 “Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure”
marks the third time that Gartner has combined wireless and wired LAN
infrastructure into one report. Each year, Aruba has appeared in the
Leader’s quadrant.
In the new Magic Quadrant report, Gartner continues, as it has
previously, to evaluate vendors based on two criteria: completeness of
vision and ability to execute. It includes a summary of each vendor, as
well as an assessment of each vendor’s strengths and weaknesses.
“We believe Aruba’s consistent position in the Leader’s quadrant is
testament to the breadth and depth of our mobility solutions, our strong
market presence and loyal customer base,” said Ben Gibson, Chief
Marketing Officer, Aruba Networks. “In the past year, we introduced our
Mobility-Defined Networks to give enterprises a roadmap for delivering
the all-wireless network to meet the needs of #GenMobile, and we
innovated in critical areas like cloud Wi-Fi, indoor location-based
services and 802.11ac. We’re pleased that Gartner has once again
acknowledged Aruba’s vision and execution.”
