Demonstrates Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute Across Wired and Wireless Networking
Aruba Networks, an HP company, (NYSE: HPQ) today announced that in
Gartner Inc.’s latest “Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN
Infrastructure” report, Hewlett Packard (Aruba Networks) has been
positioned in the Leader’s quadrant for the fourth consecutive year.
The 2015 “Magic Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure”
marks the fourth time that Gartner has combined wireless and wired LAN
infrastructure into one report. Each year, Aruba has appeared in the
Leader’s quadrant.
In the new Magic Quadrant report, Gartner continues, as it has
previously, to evaluate vendors based on two criteria: completeness of
vision and ability to execute. It includes a summary of each vendor, as
well as an assessment of each vendor’s strengths and weaknesses.
“This year, HP acquired Aruba Networks,” said Chris Kozup, Vice
President of Marketing for Aruba Networks, an HP company. “While Gartner
has acknowledged Aruba’s completeness of vision and ability to execute
in the past, we feel that we’re in an even stronger position now that we
have joined forces. With the breadth of HP’s switching portfolio and
Aruba’s innovations in mobility, we believe we’ll continue to give
enterprises the best solutions for their networking needs.”
